About Milkfish

Other names of milkfish Chanos Chanos is a popular food fish in Southeast Asia. These fish are the only species that still exist in the familia Chanidae (with six additional genera have been reported there, but now extinct). Milkfish fish live in the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean and tend berkawanan around the coasts and islands with coral reefs. Fish newly hatched young and living at sea for 2-3 weeks, then switch to the mangrove swamps brackish water, and sometimes salt water lakes. New banding back into the sea when it's mature and can breed.
